We were really surprised by the value for money at Vu Snugs. The chalet was modern, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful scenery with rabbits hopping around. The heating system was fantastic and easy to control, keeping us warm throughout our stay. Being able to park our car right next to the lodge was convenient. The snugs were spacious, clean, and relaxing. We loved the option to have food delivered to our snug, making our stay even more hassle-free. The hotel offered a perfect getaway, with a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The comfortable bed, complimentary breakfast in the fridge, and the amazing view of the hills and lake made waking up a delight. Its location halfway between Edinburgh and Glasgow made it convenient for day trips, and the staff were easily reachable and helpful. We highly recommend Vu Snugs and hope to return in the future.

The size of the pods was much bigger than expected, offering plenty of space. the facilities were great, with a good selection of hot beverages and breakfast items provided. the location was also a major advantage, being just 20 minutes away from Edinburgh, where we attended a concert.
On arrival, we were confused as there was no staff at the reception. When they finally arrived, there was no personal greeting or inquiry about our visit, which left us feeling rushed and unimportant.

The pods were clean and well-designed, providing a fine and peaceful getaway. The private setup of the snugs ensured plenty of privacy, and the water, juice, and granola provided were a nice touch. The staff member I interacted with was cheerful and helpful, adding to the positive experience. The location of the hotel was also great, with a comfortable snug and a beautiful view.
There were a couple of small drawbacks. The lack of facilities for the pods meant that I couldn't have a drink or meal in the restaurant, only open to wedding couples.

It would have been more convenient to have a food source nearby or a microwave in the snug for quick bites to eat.

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at a secluded and picturesque location. The views from our accommodation were absolutely stunning, and we couldn't have asked for more comfortable furniture. The self check-in process was smooth, and the communication with the staff prior to our arrival was excellent. The beds were cozy, and the amenities provided were perfect. We appreciated the black-out curtains and the surprise breakfast treats in the fridge, which added a nice touch to our stay.
the heating in our snug was not working properly, which made us quite cold. we found dirty bedsheets upon arrival, which made us sleep on the opposite side of the bed.

The check-in process could have been better organized, as we didn't receive an email with the pin for our snug. this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise enjoyable stay.
